Situ Lembang Park Poorly Maintained

The condition of Situ Lembang Park located on Jalan Lembang, Menteng Urban Village, Menteng Sub-District, Central Jakarta, is in need of repair. Many facilities as wide as 11,150 square meters are damaged and missing after being stolen by irresponsible person.

The park is nice, but it would not be uncomfortable if many facilities were damaged, especially children's playground. I hope the related unit could fix it immediately

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, many animation trash cans which placed in the park are damaged. Additionally, some sport facilities are missing, such as gym equipment and children's playground. It is worsened by trash piling up around and makes the place dirty and messy.

"The park is nice, but it would not be uncomfortable if many facilities were damaged, especially children's playground. I hope the related unit could fix it immediately," told Yulian (32), a visitor, Thursday (4/9).

Communal Work on Jalan Tidore to Speed Up Park Construction

Central Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department Head, Themy Kendra Putra promised to fix the damaged facilities in the park. Besides Situ Lembang Park, similar thing will be done in 12 parks.

"It was been projected. We will fix the park if the budget has been disbursed," he uttered.
